Thermal Imaging (Coming Soon)

Insulex Insulation Corks' Thermal Imaging is used to identify patterns of heat loss from your property that are invisible to the naked eye. Thermal imaging is conducted using a high tech infrared camera. This camera is able to determine the pattern of heat loss through the fabric of the building and heating systems.

Thermography allows the user to visualise and measure where heat/energy is an object, by using a specialised infrared camera. All objects emit radiation based on their temperatures, Thermography allows people to see their environment with or without visible illumination.

The quality of radiation of an object increases with, temperature, Thermography allows one to see the variations in temperature Everything with a temperature above zero degrees emits heat and is detected by the camera. Thermal imaging cameras can detect heat radiation from any such object. The volume for heat flow and sources of heat can be measured based on the colouring on the camera. Thermographers study the colour variation in a image, this allows them to determine the source of / reason for the heat radiation.

Thermal Imaging - The Benefits

  • Rapid analysis of large areas
  • Instantaneous results
  • Accurate, non-contact method of surface temperature measurement.
